Our Lady of Mercy Hospital was founded in before 1925. In 1925, it was relocated to a site close to St.Joseph's Hospital, and in 1940 a new building was built for the hospital. In 1980, Our Lady of Mercy Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital merged, and became known as St. Joseph's Health Care.
