Construction of St. Aidan's Anglican Church, designed by Andrew Sharp, began in 1907 and finished in 1909. The congregation dates back to 1880, when the church operated out of a tent on Queen Street. The memorial hall was added in 1922, designed by Archibald Joseph Stringer.
