Originally built as a residence for Sir Clifford Sifton, the building is now home to Toronto French School. Construction begun in 1922, and the house was completed in 1925. The first architects were McGiffin & Smith, however the project was later taken over and completed by Smith & Everett. Toronto French School was founded in 1962, and moved to it\'s current location in 1971.
