Notes:

1829: school founded, originally located at King and Simcoe Streets. 

1891: New school completed in current location, designed by George F. Durand and later by Strickland & Symons after his death.

1898: The Gate House (The Lodge) completed, designed by Symons & Rae. Currently the oldest building on campus.

1901: Primary school completed, designed by Eden Smith. 

1923-24: Boys residence completed, designed by Sproatt & Rolph.

1932: College dormitories completed, main school renovated; architects Mathers & Haldenby.

1937: Addition of gymnasium and swimming pool, designed by Mathers & Haldenby.

1951: Memorial wing completed.

1954: Prep school gym completed.

1958: Upper School (main building) condemned and later demolished.

1960: New Upper School completed.

1973: Macintosh Library completed.

1993: Hewitt Centre, Eaton Building, Mara Gates completed. 

2001: Richard Wernham and Julia West Centre for Learning completed.

2009: William P. Wilder \'40 Arena & Sports Complex completed.
