Notes:
The Celia Franca Centre houses the National Ballet School. The centre includes a six storey North Tower, a horizontal five storey Studio Building, and a four storey pavilion, all surrounding Northfield House. The buildings house dance studios, dressing rooms, wardrobe rooms, as well as office space.
This building has won numerous awards, including the American Institute of Architects Honor Award in 2007; a Governor General's Medal for Architecture in 2008; an Architectural Excellence Award from the Ontario Association of Architects in 2006, and an Award of Excellence from the Toronto Architecture and Urban Design Awards in 2007, in the "Large Places or Neighbourhood Designs" category. Some of these awards were applied to the larger National Ballet School complex and to Radio City as well.
