The original St. Paul's Anglican Church was completed in 1842, designed by one of Upper Canada's first professional architects, John G. Howard. A new church (now known as Old St. Paul's) was completed in 1860, with designs prepared by George Kent Radford and Edward Radford. In 1861, the 1842 church building was relocated to Potter's Field, a cemetery that once sat at the northwest corner of Yonge and Bloor. Architect Edward James Lennox was commissioned to design a new church in 1909, which was completed in 1913; now known as New St. Paul's. Lennox later went on to design a Sunday School and Parish Hall known as Cody Hall, which was completed in 1928. A project by architects Marie Black and Walter Moffat to connect Old St. Paul's, New St. Paul's and Cody Hall was completed in 2006.
