Notes:
151 Gradwell Drive is located just off of Kingston Road, at the former Stop 17. Even in c. 1947, the owners would have been near a busy main road. Kingston Road saw truck drivers and travellers visiting and leaving Old Toronto, and thus became home to a famous motel strip. Today, the motel strip still stands and is known as the oldest in Toronto.
151 Gradwell Drive was built between 1947 and 1955. Unfortunately, aerial photos from the City of Toronto Archives are missing from the years prior to 1947.
