Notes:
53 Gradwell Drive was built between 1947 and 1955. Unfortunately, aerial photos from the City of Toronto Archives are missing from these years, so the specific date of completion is currently unknown.
The white siding and front porch establish an aesthetic that could be likened to the "plantation style" of the 19th-century southeastern United States. The exterior was renovated to this style in the mid-1970s (see images).
