Notes:

One of at least two Byzantine-style synagogues in Toronto to have been converted into churches, the other being St. George's Greek Orthodox Church on Bond Street, Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God is a landmark to anyone entering Trinity Bellwoods Park from the northwest. Built in 1922 for B'Nai Israel congregation, the conversion of the building's façade involved removing several Stars of David, affixing crosses and cruciform motifs, and levelling off the building's east-west rooflines.
