Info:

In 2019, Makow Architects Associates Ltd. posted plans on their website for a new redevelopment - the Annex Lofts - at the northeast corner of Bathurst Street and Bridgman Avenue. However, as of early August 2021, no formal redevelopment application has been made available in the City of Toronto Application Information Centre.

Notes:

1177 Bathurst Street appears to have been constructed in 1908, although may also have been constructed a few years prior to this (likely no earlier than 1903).

1177 Bathurst Street was first home to George and Lydia Plumb. George Plumb (1837-1921) was originally from England and a gardener by trade. The Plumb family lived at 1177 Bathurst Street until the mid-to-late 1930s.

Following the Plumbs, 1177 Bathurst Street became home to George McFadden - a painter and decorator.

1177 Bathurst Street is in an Edwardian foursquare (Edwardian gable) style with a ground floor bay window. 1177 Bathurst Street has a distinct arched entryway, which is an uncommon feature within Edwardian foursquare architecture.

1177 Bathurst Street is presently situated between 2 industrial/office buildings.
