23 Lippincott Street: Probably Captain Ben Tripp (born 1841) - then a ship broker and marine captain - who likely resided here for 1 year in 1882. Prior to and after 1882, Captain Tripp resided a few doors south on the same block of Lippincott Street. 

 

As of 1884, 23 Lippincott Street was home to Robert Stephens - a grocer. Stephens operated his grocery business from the ground floor storefront.
