Notes:
The inspiration for villa-esque features like 36 Aviemore Drive's covered porch can be found in Italian Renaissance buildings like the Villa di Medici in Tuscany which was designed by Giuliano da Sangallo in 1470. Similar arches are common throughout Humber Summit and residential northwest Toronto in general. Some are original features of the house's design while others have been added by owners wishing either to invoke the architecture of their Mediterranean place of origin or to match the neighbourhood character. 36 Aviemore Drive's arches appear to be original, but it's difficult to determine this superficially.
