782 King Street West is a 2-storey plus basement industrial building dating to 1909/1910. 782 King Street West was first home to the Warren Manufacturing Company, which manufactured ovens for bakers. 782 King Street West was later associated with Lockhart Brothers & Company, which manufactured tape. 782 King Street presently houses StartWell — a meeting and office venue; and GreenLid — a compost innovation company. The exterior of 782 King Street West has been painted black, which is obscuring underlying architectural details.
